ftp can't make directories
 

I'm trying to ftp into one of my ftpservers(it's my xbox, so I can't give you specifics on the actual server) from an xp machine. I'm using ws_ftp and flashxp.

I connect to it thought my router and have been able to use my crossover cable.

I can copy most files, it snaggs on larger ones, but I cannot transfer or make directories. I can go into any directory I want though.

I am given two "errors" that involve pasv and xpsv. The xpsv error occurs no matter if my client is in passive mode or not.

Any thoughts?

If you are doing it anonymously then make sure you add:
anon_mkdir_write_enable=yes

If that doesn't solve it then try posing your vsftpd.conf
