I haven't done a huge amount of digging on the subject, but so far I've come up blank. Anyone know of any free net services for linux? Command line, X, banners or not, setup fee or not; doesn't matter. Just anything but monthly fees would be fine by me (Don't ya just hate invoices/bills, especially paper ones?). Also, I'm about to see if I can try out a broadband technology that uses a dish (kinda like DirectPC was, but no need for a phone line) and will post info about it (company and so forth) here as I play with it.

The only free ISP that I knew of that had Linux software was freewwweb, and they recently went out of business. I bet more than a few people are interested in this one. Anyone know??
