Forwarding traffic to a external network interface on suse Linux.

Hello all, I have a interesting task that I would like to accomplish.
I have a cluster and they are all on the same internal network. I have one host that can talk to the external network. I would like all of my host that are on the internal network to send the traffic that they have destined for the external network to the one host that can talk to the external network. What would be the best way to accomplish this task?

set up forwarding on the one external server, and on the others, configure this server as default router.

The former requires setting the kernel variable ip_forward to 1 and adding rules to the iptables FORWARD chain.

Plenty of instructions on the internet for this.
