Flash


I have a Cysco Catalyst 2950 switch
What I would like to know is how to Flash it?? Any ideas? I'm using Slackware 11.0 with 2.6.18 Kernel

you just need to run an tftp or ftp server on a host and use the standard IOS commands to perform the upgrade. note that we aren't here to teach you how to use IOS, cisco.com does a *very* good job of that.

for the switch i have the correct flash copied from another switch using minicom, i have the tftp server set up on my computer but it says permission denied when i try to copy from computer to the blank switch how do i fix this?
