Question

I´m trying to setup a firewall and i´ve read ip-chains and stuff but i must do something first and i have no idea how to do it. The workstations connected to the firewall must navigate on the internet through it but i don´t know how to tell the firewall: "take the workstations packets, check them and SEND THEM, SEEEEND THEM (this is what i really need) to the internet, stupid firewall".

thanks a lot.

Alejandro

Hi there.
You didnt mention what operating system the workstations are using??
As for the firewall, there are some really good How-To documents for it out there.
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/IPCHAINS-HOWTO.html
I'm not sure if the above is the latest doc, but it got me up and running, although some of the contents leave me behind.
