firewall setup and MX smtp router
 

Very new LINUX person. however having heard much about capabilities of linux firewalls, thought I would give it ago.

There is an added problem in that i want to be able to point MX records at the same server, to provide smtp mail to the client. The set up is that the clients exchange server is hosted remotely by an ISP and is then sent to wherever their MX records point to and then forwarded to the individuals.

So what I am asking is can someone point me in a direction to find some 'how to' infomation on these two issues. Also any added pointers about for example whether it can't be done, shouldn't be done or the forseeable problems, i would be most gratefull.
