Question

If I'm running a linux box just as a Firewall/Gateway(masq) can I disable rpc.statd and rpc.rstatd or is something else besides NFS/NIS(which I don't use) using these. This machine masquerades(NAT) our internal workstations onto the internet. I'm just thinking of security. If they is nothing using them then I'd like to disable it.

Thanx
Rois
