Smile firewall logs

hi
i' m workin on firewall.
i have a problem in finding where my firewall's logs
are saved. i'm using lokkit. i also tried with firestarter but
couldn't find it.
i also want to know where the logs of iptable get stored.
The manual of iptable tells us to use syslog.conf
but i dont know which part of that file to change.
can anyone please help me.

I think the logs get stored in /var/log/messages, try looking around your /var/log directory

Firestarter log

In addition to /var/log/messages and /var/log/syslog, the "events" can be saved to a file via a button on the events panel in the GUI.
