Firewall is preventing gamespy from showing my quake server

Hi, I'm using Firestarter to provide security for my home network setup, and also to setup NAT for me so other computuers on the LAN have access to the internet. My setup is identical to the one in the firestarter manual here: http://www.fs-security.com/docs/connection-sharing.php (the main computer connects to the internet with eth0 and ppp0, adsl, and eth1 is where the dhcp server is setup).

Anyway, last night I tried to setup a quake server so my friends and I could play. I opened up the main ports for quake and quakeworld (27500, 26000, etc.) and it worked fine. The problem however is with my server not showing up in Gamespy. I added myself to the ID "dm only" master list (on port 27006, I opened up the port in firestarter) and for some reason whenever I refresh it in gamespy my server doesn't show up. I added it manually, and it shows up, but Gamespy wont ping and it says "Successfully added ... but failed the filter checks". I immeditely thought the problem was my firewall being too strict, so I stopped it, connected from one of my "client" computers through dial up, and tried refreshing the server in Gamespy and it showed up fine (albeit with a high ping). So I knew then the firewall was the problem. I tried opening up all the ports suggested here: http://www.gamespyarcade.com/support/firewalls.shtml (except for the IRC one), and it still fails to ping my server with the firewall on. I _have_ to use firestarter, because I've never had any luck with IP masquerading any other way, and I don't even know how to open up ports with manual scripts. If I don't have the firewall on, I can't connect to my own server.

Does anybody have any experience with quake servers and how to get them to show up while behind a firewall in Gamespy? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
