Firestarter

I dont know where this post should be ..networking or security so i'll jus post it here!

Well i have a redhat 8 box acting as a gateway/firewall im using firestarter to share the connection to 3 other boxes (2 xp one 98 )

The problem im having is port forwarding. With both emule and winMx
On emule ports 4662 (tcp) and 4672 (udp) need forwarding
and on winmx i think its 6699 and some other port.
but anyway i have tried opening these ports in firestarter with no look. I have also tried forwarding these ports .. but neither of these actions seem to make any difference!

I cant see what the problem is ... is it firestarter or is it the network??

The way i have had them forwarded is:
input Port 4662 to ip 192.168.0.2 port 4662 is this correct?

I would confirm if these are the correct ports. Have you confirmed if these ports are actually being forwarded to your Windows machines... etc?
