Finding The Primary and Secondary Nameserver(s?) Linux Mint 13

Well, according to this in order to share a connection with any 12.04 spin I need to setup a resolv.conf, with the domain and nameservers. I do think this little guide was made for MATE and I cant find the nameservers with their instructions (Im using Cinnamon).
Are there any alternatives to finding the nameservers?

Using Linux Mint 13, Maya 64-Bit Cinnamon.

PS: I am using nano rather than pluma if that makes any difference.

pluma?? wtf is pluma?? do "cat /etc/resolv.conf". Why did they need to use a text editor specific to MATE? That's dumb.

Not what I meant XD, the network utility is different, I cant right click the stuff in the Network Manager, therefor no connection info.
