Finding Network Config from the server
Hi there
Another new kid on the block... I was tasked with finding a network configuration from the server. Please help me with the appropriate command of executing this task in SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 and 10. I'll be happy for every response, especially a constructive one...thanks in advance. |
Do you mean dhcp?

I am not sure if that refers to dhcp. Unfortunately the person who gave me the task is unreachable now...and I thought by sheer luck my question would make sense. |
That would be my guess then.
You should be able to use yast to open the network settings interface and tell the relevant interface to get its information by dhcp. |
