Finding Network Config from the server

Hi there

Another new kid on the block...

I was tasked with finding a network configuration from the server. Please help me with the appropriate command of executing this task in SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 and 10. I'll be happy for every response, especially a constructive one...thanks in advance.

Do you mean dhcp?

I am not sure if that refers to dhcp. Unfortunately the person who gave me the task is unreachable now...and I thought by sheer luck my question would make sense.

That would be my guess then.

You should be able to use yast to open the network settings interface and tell the relevant interface to get its information by dhcp.
