I just install knapster in the kde desktop, but I could not find the knapster in the program menu. can anyone please tell me how can I make the knapster active in the program menu.
by the way, I try /etc/fstab

usually you can right click and there should be an option to edit or add to panel. This is where you can usually edit, add, delete stuff off the program menu's, bottom bar.. etc...
/etc/fstab is for mounting partitions and filesystems... that won't have anything to do with creating a sort of desktop shotcut icon.

fstab?? That defines which hard drives, CDROM's etc are physically attached to your system, certainly nothing whatsoever to do with kde!
I'm pretty sure there's a menu editor hidden in the kde menu somewhere. you should just be able to edit that and add a command for knapster if it's on your path. if it's not use 'whereis knapster' to find where the program actually is. This is all of course assuming that it's installed correctly and you can run it from a terminal window.
But erm... Napsters closed down.... ?!?!!
