problem sending mails to local user

configured fetchmail, procmail, qmail, popa3d and i am able to fetch mails from my pop accoun and deliver it to my local account "krishnan"

here is my conf files

[B].fetchmailrc[\B]

# Configuration created Tue Nov 8 14:04:44 2005 by fetchmailconf
#set syslog
set postmaster "postmaster"
set bouncemail
set no spambounce
set properties ""

defaults proto pop3
poll pop.gmail.com user b.jayakrishnan@gmail.com is krishnan here pass ***** ssl

mda '/usr/bin/procmail -d %T'

[B].procmailrc[\B]

:0
* !^common@gateway.itutor.com
| /home/common/Mailbox

[B]/etc/hosts[\B]

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.0.102 gateway.itutor.com gateway

telneted to port 110 and 25 and got possitive results, the mails are also fetched and delivered to my local user account, as i can check the mails with the [B]mail[\B] command.

Now the problem is i tried to access my mails thru mozilla mail, i am able to connect to the server and login, but i am unable to check my emails, it keeps saying no new mails even though there are 2-3 new mails thhere and i am unable to send mails between localusers,
though i can send mail to outside world either to my yahoo or gmail account

When i send a mail from root to localuser krishnan, the mail doesnt showup, and i dont c any errors

I am confused, this is the first time i am configuring an email server
