his settings are :
ip : 192.168.0.25
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0
no gateway
no dns
and my linux machine is :
ip : 192.168.0.35
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0

what i am trying to achieve is to make my Linux the server for internet sharing... i want to share the internet off the Linux machine, how do i do that? i am running Fedora C O R E 1

I think you have to configure your PC as the gateway of the other computer, and install a NIC, then hook the two PC's up with Cat5 .
Unless you are talking Dial-up, then I dont know.
