Unhappy fedora c2; iptables blocking samba??? help

I have set ports 138:tcp, 139:tcp in the security level dialog box as Other ports.
Still, the WinXP machines say the connection was refused until I turn off the firewall.
If the firewall is off both the file and printer sharing works.
I think that means the samab config is OK.
Can anyone help?
