I've been using Fedora for a while, and I wanted to try Debian again (used it when i was first starting to use linux, then moved on to other distros) and I didn't like it, so i reinstalled fedora. well, I'm having a weird problem... when I try to go to a website, can't connect... so I tried activating my network card, but i was unable to even
see it. after a little tinkering around, i was able to detect my network card. but upon trying to activate it, i was greeted with a error message saying " can't complete the following: determining IP address. check cable?" or something along those lines. so i checked the cable to see if it was plugged in, and it was, then i checked the end going into my router, and it was also plugged in. so i tried again then i switched ethernet cables, and it still didn't work. I can get a connection in windows, but not in fedora
any clues?
