Fedora 9 Wireless USB adapter not working anymore.

I got Fedora 9 kernel version 2.6.27.5-41 arch i686 running on my Compaq Presario C300 laptop (Chipset Intel Mobile 945 GM Express). The internal wireless NIC is broken, so I used a Linksys WUSB54GC wireless adapter. All was working fine, until I wanted DVD-playback on my machine. I found the script Autonine from dnmouse.org, and installed through a GUI Flash-plugin/DVD-Playback/Java6U7/Virtualbox/googleearth/picasa.

DVD-playback is working now on VLC-player, but on reboot the wireless adapter is not working anymore.

On several sites I find that the drivers are in Fedora 9, which is right: it worked before.

On forums.fedoraforum.org I searched for wusb54gc.

dmesg sees it on insertion:

From /sbin/lspci I learn that the internal wireless is a Broadcom94311MCG wlan mini-PCI (rev 01). I want to disable this one, because it is broken. I know that, it didn't work with WinXP also.

In forums.fedoraforum.org searching for wusb54gc I read: disable the driver module to not be loaded in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist. This is what I want to do with the Broadcom 943XX.

So my questions are:
1. How to find the module that belongs to this Broadcom internal wireless NIC ?

2. And then, how to reconnect my USB adapter ?

lsmod will tell you what modules are installed. You can Google search for the Linux drivers for the wireless cards. FC10 is also an option. If you can not find the driver, you can also use ndiswrapper.
