Angry FC9 NetworkManager

Hi, am a newbie to linix, i`m runnin fc9 on a packardbell notebook, i wanted to findout how to disable the NetworkManager, it picks up my wireless adaptor but it keeps coming up with an error that another host is using the ip address that i set to it, i have tried changing it to diffrent ips but the same error message keeps coming up, dont know what to do next, so i think i`ll jus thinkin of sticking to a wired connection

Thanx

Hey,

Did you try to use dhcp?
Normally if you login to the accesspoint or wireless router, you can see the addresses wich are in use.
