Frids Plz Help! I Have Installed Ubuntu 8.04 Lts Desktop
Edition . But Im Unable To Connect To The Internet....plz Help...mine's Is A Airtel Broadband Adsl2+ Modem

I got an error message:

Please, connect to your modem and do:
ifconfig -a
route -n

If your internet is a ADSL broadband connection which requires username and password setup, then you need to set it up with sudo pppoeconf command.
Fill in the values and you should be done.
