Ethernet no longer works...

I've seen tons of posts complaining about this, but no solutions...

I just installed Debian (Woody/BF24) on an XP Home dual boot, and my NIC (NatSemi DP83815) will no longer connect to the net. I tried using the mii-tool to no avail and that seems to be the only fix that I can find.

If anyone can add some insight to getting this fixed, or let me know where someone has discussed another fix, I'd be very grateful.

Thanks for you help!
