I am using Freesco - a stripped down version of Linux - to set up an old Pentium as a router for my cable modem. I put three ethernet cards in. The Linksys NC1000 card recognizes the cable modem and works ok. The system recognizes the other two cards - 3Com 509 cards - but my clients can't connect through them. I think the problem has to do with there being three different interfaces on those cards. Is there some way to force the cards to use the RJ interface?

Send in the output of the "ifconfig" command. U need to know if the NIC's are working. what ip adresses are being used and so on. Have fun :) |
