Ethereal Packet capture Help

Hi there,

How can I use ethereal (or any other tool) to capture all network traffic on my LAN.

If I run ethereal on CPU1 and want to capture traffic where source and/or destination is any computer on my LAN, so that if for example CPU2 opens a telnet session with CPU3 I would be able to sniff their packets from CPU1.

Pls help!

Monitoring Port

The easiest way would be to have all hosts connected to a hub, or better yet to set up a monitoring port if you have a switch that supports that.

All computers are connected to a D-link 16 Port Hub. When I run ethereal on CPU1 it only captures pakets to or from that PC.
I have checked "Capture Packets in Promiscuous Mode", but I only get my own. I tested this by going to another computer and pinging my computer, which showed the requests and replies, but when I ping another computer, I don't see the icmp protocol.
