Etherboot vs Netboot

Hi!

I'm thinking about building a network bootable system for educational purposes and I came across etherboot and netboot.

I read some of the documentation available at both project sites and I can only conclude that these two projects are very similar. But how similar are they? What are the differences?

They seem both to be for x86 cpu, both use tftp, both use bootp (even thou etherboot can also use dhcp), both can be installed on a NIC bootprom...

Anyone here tried them both?

Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.
