"eth0" disabled itself.

Guys, few minutes ago I accidentally assigned my mail server's IP to an other workstation. The funny thing is my mail server's which is RH 7.1, ethernet card is disabled or deactivated by itself.
I mean there is no "ifconfig eth0" command any longer. It just gived me loopback's IP configuration.
Is there any re-mounting command for "eth0" or a txt file to configure ??
Thanks in advance..

ifup eth0 should bring the interface back up, or at least attempt to.

the config info specific to that interface is at /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
