Generally you register on the Redhat site and give the system you're on the applicable channel rights after that it typically works without to much of an issue. There are several tutorials for it on the Redhat site. I'm not really tremendously sure of the exact issue you're having could you go into more details?

That being said, if you mean using a copy of Redhat without license, then you don't you use a binary compatible distribution like CentOS.
