Enable/Disable ICS on XP from LINUX box.

I am a 5 hour user of linux and I am impressed.

I do have a question. I am on ethernet LAN with two pcs.

PC 1 (windows XP sp2) - not mine - is connected to cable internet and shares it through ICS.

PC 2 is the new LINUX install and is mine.

Before on PC 2 I had windows XP and I used the shared ICS. I could enable/disable the connection from my pc through Network Connections. The owner of PC 1 preffers that it is disconnected while not in use.

How can I achieve the same on my LINUX? Can I have an icon on task bar that will allow me to do anable/disable the internet connection on the PC 1?

I'm not aware of a way to remotely disable it, even under XP. How did you do this under XP?

Enable/Disable ICS remotely in Xp seems simple. I have two connection indicators on my taskbar when on the Internet.
One is the local NET the other appears when the ICS PC is connected to internet.
Start/ControlPanel/NeworkConections - I have there ICS icon all the time - On or Off. Click with right button and the first option in a box is a toggle Enable/Disable.

I am not sure what it is or how to use the (IM:EmptyCinema) in you footer.
