Employee monitoring


We have Ubuntu server installed and others are windows clients. i want to monitor everything of windows client from ubuntu server,
Give me important tips, I cant use Squid Proxy because on ubuntu server there is only one network port and we dont have firewall. we have router only. So i think software or tool will be great for me.. can anybody will guide me ?

You need to open your own thread for your own question. This thread has been closed since 2007, and you re-opened it and hijacked it with your question, and demand that we "give you important tips"? How about adding "please" in there?

Also, you question is too vague...you want to monitor 'everything of windows client". What is 'everything'? Each application opened/closed? Mouse clicks? Hardware events? Email? Web? Be aware that some of those things will require agents installed on all the Windows clients, and the server piece may not run on Ubuntu at all. Try Google for some good suggestions for comprehensive Windows monitoring tools. And you CAN use Squid for an internet proxy...that's what it does...it sits on one network port, and you route internet traffic through it....you only need one port.
