Email Route

I have a LAN and two internet connections (cable and wireless)
and I was wondering if it's possible to bridge those two gateways and use
wireless connection for email traffic only? And all other traffic to go through cable.

Wireless gateway is under ISP
administration.

Server is Sun Cobalt Qube.

Does the Cobalt have a user tool for configuring routing? This would be the easy way to go, otherwise you will need to fight with the 'route' command ;-)

1) If you are connected to the Internet on this machine, you will have a gateway set up - I guess this is your cable connection. This should be your default gateway and handle all traffic unless otherwise specified.
2) You need to set up another gateway with the IP address of your wireless gateway.
3) Set up routes for your incoming and outgoing mail server(s) to use the gateway you have just set up.

To view your current configuration: route -n

To learn more about the route command: man route

Hope this helps.

Cheers
