Duplex mismatch fixing help needed...

Hi all,

I've got two machines setup with a Netgear FS108 switch talking quite happily and fast to each other over 100 Mbit/s full duplex and also talking nicely to my DSL route.
Troublesome is the integration of my notebook via WLAN.

I have a Netgear ME102 Accesspoint connected to mentioned switch and a TrueMobile 1150 card running in my Notebook
(Gentoo 1.4, orinoco_cs etc).

Connection is functional but as soon as I transfer large volumes of data to the notebook I see a massive performance drop, down to a few kilobytes per second and occasional stalling. This seems to indicate a duplex mismatch somewhere - but I am a bit lost on what the best approach to this problem is - for a start I can't figure out how to configure duplex mode on the access point/wlan card - the switch should auto-sense this, I reckon?

Any hints/pointers to relevant documents would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jens
