Exclamation Dumb Terminal Connections

I'm needing to connect several dumb terminals to my RedHat 8.0 box. My previous experience with this was under SCO OpenServer 5, and we used GettyDefs. It looks like that's not available under RH 8. So, is there an alternative for setting comm parameters in RH 8?

I've heard of minicom, but I don't know anything about it. Is it a solution for this problem?

"mgetty" is another I've heard of, but so far the information I've picked up on these items has been very limited.

Any information you might have on a solution for dumb terminals to RH 8 would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I think these both setup X terminals, but the basic underlying info should help.
