Do you mean digital subscriber line modem or Damn Small Linux distro?
If dsl modem then what kind of modem?
Does it support ethernet connection or USB only? Ethernet is the easiest.
If USB only there might be support for it out there just need model and make.
If you have a router connected to the dsl modem then you need to set the linux box netwrking to dynamic if you have left the router the way it was configured from the store.
Lets what answers we get back.

Before going into great detail do you have the modem and router connectted and have you used it on a differnet OS or computer?
Or have never setup DSL at all on anything yet?

That makes it easier.
First I would check the network settings under Windows.
See whether dynamic or static.
If dynamic then goto your network configuration tool in Xandros and setup eth0 to dynamic
If it is static use the same values from windows system.
Not a Xandros user so cannot say how that distro works exactly.
Might search here for Xandros and network setup or faq at xandros.

Check which settings? On the windows OS?
Use the help feature in Windows and search for networking.

How did you set it up under windows. Post instructions on what you did. Never used Xandros distro so cannot say what networking config tools there are. Check in the Xandros section or Xandros site.
