Driver issues with Wireless card (Asus PCE-N13, ie ralink rt2860) in Fedora 12
Recently bought this wireless card since I had to swap my old motherboard with built-in wireless for a new one so I could run a few new components. This Asus card is designed to work with both Linux and Windows and works right off the bat with a simple install in Windows 7 (on another HD), but it is an absolute nightmare to install in fedora. The readme that it comes with is incredibly poorly written and basically makes no sense (with instructions like "Modify Makefile as necesssary", which I absolutely have no idea how to do). I found some Ralink RT2860 .cmd files that were supposed to install the drivers, but was prompted to install additional packages to get the install to work (shortly after starting into resolving dependencies) but get a transaction error with all different versions of the .cmds. I tried the same thing through the add/remove software wizard, but get the same errors. An example of what it says within "more details" would be
"kmod-rt2860-2.6.32.16-141.fc12.i686-2.3.0.0-1.fc12.2.i686 requires kernel-uname-r = 2.6.32.16-141.fc12.i686"
Any help on how to get these drivers installed?
