Downloads stalling on MDK 10! !!!!

I' ve the following problem.

My MDK 10 box is connected through a Nforce2 NIC (forcedeth driver) to a Windows XP machine which is sharing it's connection through XP Connection SHaring.

My problem is that when I download a file it stalls randomly, requiring to redownload the entire fire (this occurs with WGET, Mozilla, FIREFOX, all...) .. also, I'm not getting good downloads speeds. THis occurs only in Linux, not in XP.

What problem is this? MTU? nvnet or forcedeth driver?
Should I disable IPV6 or DHCP?

thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
