Download doesn't work.


Hello,
I have an big problem so when i want to download something it just download with 9 Kb's! that's very shit when i want to download an iso file

ipv6 is deactivated.

My WLAN adapter is Atheros 5007. and it is installed.
i have DSL 3000!
on ubuntu it always download with 350Kb's but on Slackware just with 9 Kb's.

what can it be?

That sounds like a trivial network problem - bandwidth (or server load); not yours, though - it's probably happening on the other side of the connection. I suggest trying a different mirror for Slackware.

thanks for quick answer. how can i switch the mirror?

EDIT. When i download now something it download me with 50Kb's.

First, don't post repeat questions less than an hour apart...we volunteer our time.

Second, if you want to download from a different location...PICK A DIFFERENT LOCATION.

You don't say what utility you're using, or what location you're trying to download from, so it's hard to be more specific. Look at the web page's mirror list, and pick a different location...
