domain names

hi,
Ive finally got multiple domains working on RHL7.0's sendmail. I still a a problem though - the server sends mail from the other domain(s) but appends its original domain to the senders address...um.. this is what I mean:

My primany domain is wingnut.com
My secondary domain is screwball.com

user Jeff sends & recieves mail at jeff@screwball.com but his reciepients see his mails as comming from jeff@wingnut.com.

Does anyone know how to config this so that jeffs mail will be seen as: jeff@screwball.com????

you need to tweak masquerading in sendmail
if host masq was enabled with installation then you can just change your host name in sendmail.cf

Thanks Noerr, but I still want john@wingnut.com 's mail to be seen as john@wingnut.com. Wont what you're saying override this???

no you can setup one mail server to be your primary and then have 10 or so secondary mail servers and they all receive mail from their master, but send it on they're own, but masqerade as a master mail server, so recepient wouldn't know that mail came from different server.
if you have your source take a look at
../sendmail-8.12.4/cf/README
