Does NetworkManager store bandwidth usage data anywhere?

Hello All,

I want to know my DSL bandwidth usage in the last 15 days.I have no network monitoring software installed.I have the default installation and my distribution is Opensuse 11.2.

Is there a way I can get that information from the vanilla system?

Thnaks in advance.

I am not sure where this is stored if at all witch I highly doubt as I spent a few hours looking not long ago . You could install and configure webmin to get a graphical representation of the bandwidth for future use or a quick google search will generate a few other methods. in the mean time your ISP should be able to give you an idea of the traffic in and out of your network

Thanks.I have already received details from ISP.Now this is only a theoretical interest.I know knemo does this, vnstat does this, but thought as so many other log is kept in the system, this might be kept too.Others have mentioned other applications to do the same as well.
I also face another question here.My DSL connection at home and office internet both rely on DHCP on wired connections. At both the places, the router-modems have an IP of 192.168.1.1.Now is there a way to configure my network to tell the difference between home and office, unles I statically switch on and off connections at home and office?
