DNSSEC - setting DO bit

Hi All,
How can I enable DNSSEC client DNS requests with the DO bit set? Does glibc support this? I see reference to glibc supporting a flag called RES_USE_DNSSEC but not sure what that buys me. I just basically want to have the desktop become a non-validating stub resolver.
Thanks for any help!

Check out dnsmasq that possibly do what you are looking for.
