dnsmasq cleaning up leases file

Hello.

I am running dnsmasq as a dns server, and it is working well. There are just a couple of things I would like to make it do if possible. I've checked the man pages but couldn't find the answers I need.

Is there any way that I can get the server to have a max lease time at all? So that the entries in the leases file are deleted if the machines are no longer on the network?

Also... at the moment if anyone tries to resolve the dns servers name or ip, it doesn't work, because the server name isn't in the dhcpd.leases file. Does anyone know where I can add the server in statically? (it has a static IP).

Thanks alot.
