dns server intern and extern

hi guys

at home I have 4 servers. each one of them has a dedicated task. now I want to use an internal dns server to give each one of my servers a name. I was thinking of home . org. now I configured my box with bind and apache , I configured bind that elmo . home . org points to 192.168.0.10 but everytime I ping elmo . home . org on my dnsserver I get this:

%ping www . home . org
PING www . home . org (216.167.90.226): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 216.167.90.226: icmp_seq=0 ttl=238 time=103.809 ms
64 bytes from 216.167.90.226: icmp_seq=1 ttl=238 time=117.309 ms

I know it istn't verry odd , its the externel ip. but how do I tell bind to look at his records before going to an externel dnsserver to resolv the url ?
I can't find a good howto so if anyone found something plz let me know.

thx 4 help

grtz

You need to change /etc/resolv.conf so that you are actually using your own nameserver

/etc/resolv.conf

nameserver 127.0.0.1
