Post Dns Issue!!!

I have a redhat 9 box configured at my home with as Firewall/samba fileserver/printserver/dhcp-server/printserver and DNS server.

DNS is configured on the server as a forwarder and everytime I try to ping my
firewall by the hostname from my LAN it always replies back with the outside public Ip address instead.

How can I fix my box so it will reply with the internal 192.168.X.X address?
