Question dns - can I get alias name from ip address

Hi folks,
I've created CNAME record in DNS and now I can resolve alias name as expected:

Code:
C:\Users\liandy>nslookup
Default Server: utilcn3.cn.example.com
Address: 10.182.96.20

> alias.example.com
Server: utilcn3.cn.example.com
Address: 10.182.96.20

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: cname.example.com
Address: 10.242.6.20
Aliases: alias.example.com
But I have a question that, can I get alias name from ip address? I mean is there a way that I know what alias names bound for a cname(cname.example.com, 10.242.6.20)? As currently, nslookup for a ip only returns the cname but no alias name:

Code:
C:\Users\liandy>nslookup 10.242.6.20
Server: utilcn3.cn.example.com
Address: 10.182.96.20

Name: cname.example.com
Address: 10.242.6.20
Thanks!

Hi,

try host. Eg
Code:
host 10.242.6.20
EDIT: Sorry, that is completely the wrong answer. Now I've destroyed the threads zero reply status. If it is any consolation I'm trying to find the correct answer...

Hi,

it seems this is a nontrivial problem. The best answer I could find was at:
