Angry Dns/bind Rhl8.0

Alright, I am going to kill myself as I can't find just a simple answer to my question.

First am I correct in understanding BIND & DNS are basically the same thing?

I have a general idea of how DNS works.

I have an internal network running Win2K Pro machines. I built a router/firewall on RHL 8.0. I want to make this machine also a DNS server for the internal network.

Can someone give me a sample? Either what to do in the Domain Name Server GUI interface in RHL8.0 or as commands etc. in named.conf.

Thanks in advance

DNS & Bind

BIND is a (THE) DNS server for UNIX. They also have a win32 BIND... but anyway..

http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO/ will reveal all. Look at the DNS HOWTO, that's how we all started. Good luck!
