Post Dns

Hi

Ok, first, what do people think of 'dnsmasq', the caching dns server for linux? .. I got fed up with pdnsd crashing...

Second, what should the 'search' line in /etc/resolv.conf be? I currently dont have one, but have tried 'search .' .. cant seem to notice much difference? never known what it really should be for optimum configuration.

I am on NTLWorld cable modem service..

Thanks

Duncan
