DLT/DAT backup system for Linux

I would like to recommend a DTL/DAT drive that is best compatible with linux to a client of mine that wants to me to implement a backup system. Is there a website for hardware reviews for Linux based stuff that I can look at to choose the best one or can somebody recommend a tape backup drive?

I do not have much experience with finding tape drives, but LinuxQuestions.org has an HCL, and if you search for "tape drive" you get a few results (although very few):

Here you can find tests on dlt units, they are not nicely stacked in a graph but in separate tests.
