Disable PnP (Redhat 7.1, 3Com 3C905C)

I would like to disable Plug and Play (PnP) for my Linux
box. I'm running Redhat 7.1 on Dell Precision 340. There
is no other OS in that box.

I need to do that since my NIC is not being detected by
dhcp. Someone told me that disabling PnP might solve
the problem.

Can someone tell me what steps I need to follow to disable
PnP?

Thanks.

Syed

Usually this refers to the BIOS PnP setting.
Reboot, go into BIOS settings and look for an option "dis/enable PnP".
