Dialup PPP server?

I am wanting to setup a PPP service on my server so that I can dial-in remotely. I am using seawolf 7.1.

My last attempt was with Redhat 6.0 and I spent weeks and read ALL the how-tos with no success.

If anyone has done this succesfully could they please post a copy of config files.

Many thanks.

I just set this up

The problem is, I am not getting everything across.

I thought it was ok when I was using my laptop with linux on it to dial in. I just tested it with a windows client, The dns is not working...

I guess the DNS was already set on the linux client from the ethernet interface.

I can ping the internet but no DNS.

this is what I have

[root@cc784984-a ppp]# cat options.ttyS0
10.0.0.1:10.0.0.100
--------------------------------------------------------------
this line is in /etc/mgetty+sendfax/login.config

/AutoPPP/ - a_ppp /usr/sbin/pppd auth -chap +pap login debug
---------------------------------------------------------------

thats about it

where do I designate other stuff like I have in my dhcpd.conf ?

I also need wins sent to client, I can only access lan using ip addresses.

Update ...

after typing in ipaddress like this \\11.0.0.4

I can go up in explorer to workgroup and now I have names.

I want to send the DNS suffix to windows like I have with ethernet.
