Dialin Server

Hii every body.

i have installed dialin server on redhat 9.0. and the installation and configuration is success. how ever the client cannot go to internet. My server can go to internet but using intranet proxy server. the client also not use the server default gateway as it gateway even though i have tick the column "use remote network gateway as default gateway".

should i configure squid to solve this problem? dialin process use pppd and pap authentification

Dude, I was trying to do the same thing, but i had no success at all. perhaps because i messed up the configuration with the callback thing.

anyway, did you setup the server as a gateway (NAT) ? did you use iptables to forward all the packages coming from the client?

if you have good tutorial for the dialin server please send me.

should i use rules like ipfwadm ?

Try
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i !eth0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 3128

or

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i ppp0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 3128

there was an error on that rules. --to-port 3128..
