Unhappy dhcp troubles?

Hi, I've just blown Mac OS off of my ruby iMac and have installed Mandrake 8.0. The install went very smoothly and upon rebooting after install everything was golden. I could get to the net via my eth0 and cable modem, DNS was functional - all appeared well.

However, next day net access was a no-go. Couldn't resolve an IP address for eth0. It would seem when the lease expires on my IP from Rogers @ Home, my configuration is not updating from dhcp. Likely an extremely newbie fix, but any suggestions are mucho appreciated.

Thanx!
K

Do you know which client is negotiating the configuration - dhcpcd, pump, or dhclient? Can you manually re-lease an address?
