Unhappy DHCP Suse 9.2 Server wont route pings back to client

I have Suse 9.2 DHCP server running dhcpd hooked up to my DSL Modem.
When I ping any site on the web it shows the pings on the DHCP server using tcpdump but it doesn't show anything on the client.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming that you cannot receive the ping replies on your SuSE box?

In SuSE 9.2, they started implementing the firewall out of the box. You may have to check to see if the local subnet is trusted. There is a firewall configuration utility in YaST. Depending on your experience with firewalls, you may not want to simply "trust" your local network. Especially if you don't have some other form of protection for that network.
